How can we improve Base API's?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.

  1. Updating the lead process since Base has added the company verses just having a contact.

    Converting a lead when the lead is actually a COMPANY verses being a CONTACT.

    When Base added the company features to the application there are a few processes that (IMHO) need to be also updated.

    When I add a COMPANY as a lead it (kinda) works. When the company is being added as a lead it does 2 things. Shows the company is available in REACH and also shows the company is also in BASE.

    If I pick the Company that is already in BASE it only allows me to continue to edit it.

  2. Allow Automated Actions to be due based on a fixed future date i.e., 6 months before *x* date

    I run an event business where I need to check in with clients at set dates based on the event date (e.g., discuss wedding information 3 months before the wedding date) so I'd like to be able to set tasks to be due based on a fixed date in the future.

  5. Differentiating Loss & Unqualified reasons on the different funnels.

    Do we have the posibility to differentiate de Loss and unqualified reasons per pipeline? So we can have different reasons depending on the pipeline we are on, as some of the reasons are specific to the pipeline.

  6. Include Zapier trigger when a deal qualifies for a certain filter

    Pipedrive has a zapier trigger for when a deal fulfills a certain filter. I use this to populate spreadsheets | pipelines for when deals have not been touched in a certain amount of days and have sales guys follow up for the reorder. Would be nice if Zapier Sell had this same feature.

  7. I would like to be able to create a notification for each contact's birth date.

    A notification or reminder that a contact's birth date is coming up, yearly.

  10. Create a custom field on Deal cards that links to a Contact

    It is possible to create custom fields on a Deal card e.g. date picker, drop down menu, plain text etc... We'd love it if there was an option to have a custom field type where you can link to a Contact. This helps us identify both the client and transacting customer (different individuals or companies) on a single Deal.

  11. Entering new person contact. Make Company field auto complete with typing, rather than having to click with mouse.

    Before the update it was much faster to enter data, now one has to go back and forth between mouse and keyboard

  13. keyboard shortcut to remove an email from a deal

    Please add a keyboard shortcut to remove an email from a deal. Often emails to a contact that are unrelated to that specific deal distracted from reviewing the activity on a deal. Thanks.

  14. Make "associate emails to deals" an option, not automatic

    Sometimes one contact is associated to multiple deals, and it is very time consuming to toggle on or off the deals to which that email relates - much easier to do it manually sometimes OR at least make a toggle for "disassociate to all deals" (at least in this way you can tick that fist, and then just choose the deal you want to be associated to that email)

  16. Entering new contact info. Keep whole data enter pane frozen and let expansion go out to right side instead of centering

    It wastes time when entering data if the eye has to follow a field around when it bounses around the screen

  19. Company hierarchy changes should be reflected in the Firehose

    When a contact is made a parent or child of another, it should be reported in the Firehose as a change to both the parent and the child.
