  1. Leads Merge / Duplicates

    When we have imported Leads, often times many but not all of the new Leads that are imported turn out to have been in our Leads database previously. However, this creates an enormous number of duplicates in our Leads. It would be much more helpful to be able to merge the Leads and remove duplicates, much as we can for our Contacts.

    Hello everyone!

    We have recently performed a major update to our Duplication logic in Base when you import a new set of leads or manually enter in a lead in Base.

    The deduplication update includes three components to help combat duplicates:
    – Suggested leads/contacts
    – Flexible duplicate management during imports
    – Customizable duplicate identification

  2. Add BCC address for Leads

    Would be great if Base had a BCC address for Leads. We're currently using ToutApp and need our emails to be saved under Leads, not Contacts. We believe this would be extremely helpful, especially as the email clients supported by Base are very limited. We would be willing to pay extra for this feature.

    Thanks for your feedback, we really appreciate it! BCC addresses are currently avaliable for Leads as well as Contacts and users are able to use their Contact BCC email address to add correspondence Leads to Base.

    Please note that BCC’d emails will not convert to the Contact or Deal when the Lead is converted.

  3. Tracking Leads (Contacts) the same way we track Deals.

    For instance, tracking a Contract through "Awareness", "Interest", "Engagement" to a Deal. Once a Deal has begun they move to "Qualified" and onwards.

    Ultimately, we'd like to begin reporting on leads as they bounce through our nurturing and outreach campaigns.

    Would this sort of detail on Lead tracking be possible?

  4. Tracking and Reports on Lead Source

    Please add the ability to track a lead source. It is vital to analyzing marketing ROI to see where your leads are coming from. Custom field is great and that is what we have been doing but then there is human error/ forgetfulness when it has to be re entered in the deal source.

  6. Leads option in the I phone Application

    I like the new Leads section however the Application does not open the lead info on my I phone. Please add this feature. Thank you.

    Base is an awesome tool.

    a simple field that shows the number of days since last contact would be very helpful.

  8. Abilty to sort leads by industry sector

    Currently there is no functionality allowing users to sort by industry sector. This is essential in organisations where sales people are sector-specific and the addition would make assigning leads a lot faster. Tagging each lead individually is too time consuming. Thanks

  9. Remove Company as an essential field for Leads

    In franchising, the franchise prospect normally does not have a company at the time of making an enquiry. Having to enter the Company as a compulsory field just means that everyone gets "Unknown" entered which is a pain and one extra data point entered.

    Thanks for posting!
    The Company field is not required – if you’re working with Leads who are primarily individuals, you can simply enter their first names and last names (though in that case, the last name is mandatory).

  10. Leads Order

    My preferred way to view my leads is to have them in most recent action items in descending (most recent) order. It would be nice if there was a way to make this a default view rather than changing it each time. Perhaps it is, but I haven't found it. Thanks

  11. Email notifications for New Leads that are added via lead capture

    Currently if you get a new lead there is no way to know about it unless you check manually. By creating email notifications for new leads added via lead capture, users can improve there follow up turnaround time.

  13. Change lead visibility per user

    You can change what contact and deals a user can see from the user configuration settings. I would also like to see the option to change visibility for leads. This could allow all the team to view the information on leads.

    For a single lead record, it might be quickest to copy the information to a lead; if you have more entries like that, you can export you contacts list and import the relevant ones as leads.

  15. Bug with Leads

    Not sure, but there seems to be a small bug with managing leads. I accidentally converted quite a few leads to "unqualified", and when I try to convert them back to "in progress" they don't appear. The lead is available (ie, when I search), and I can see the lead, but I can view it in my list of leads. Thanks!

  16. Table-View for Leads and Contacts

    Please improve the Leads- and Contact-View by using a standard table layout. The big font and the mouseover contact information isn't as clearly arranged as a normal table, spreadsheet style.
