  1. sync with Android contacts

It's a pity that the Android Base App, which for the rest is great, doesn't have the option to sync contacts to the address book.
The problem with contacts not being there is that I don't know who is calling me bcs I see only the number.

  2. Enable click through to social media (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) from Android app

Why can't we click through to the social media links we've added for the contact while in the android app? That would be incredibly useful. Thanks!!

  3. Retain filters for contact type and tag

Each time I navigate away from contacts I lose the filters I setup. This is annoying. Retain the filters that are set so we come back to the contact list with what we had in mind.

  4. Can the Android App have the ability to view and send emails? And the web App the ability to view phone log?

This would make the experience truly seamless, and make the travelling sales rep's life a lot easier!

    Hi Amy
    Thanks for your feedback!
The Android app includes the full email experience now, as well as the phone call logs and records.

    All the best,

  5. Include contact Company in addition to contact name on incoming call overlay

Add contact Company on call overlay.
With multiple contacts at same phone number, company is more important than contact name.

    Hi,
Update 2.9.4 of the app addresses this.
    Thanks for your feedback!

  6. Multi Window Support

The galaxy note range of tablets allow multiple apps to be open at once in separate windows. To support this the app developers simply have to make a small change to the AndrodManifext.xml. There is no real coding to do so the change would be very easy and fast to make. There are tools on XDA-Developers that can make the change automatically after the apk has been installed but I would have to keep doing it each time I updated your app. If you could make the change at source that would be great.

    Thanks,

    David Coales

  7. T9 Dialer for Android App

Currently base only syncs contacts that are "owned." For those contacts that are owned, and thus in sync with my google account, I can dial them from the native dialer.

However, I often need to call contacts that are owned by other members of my organization and for this I have to open the base app, swipe into contacts, search by name, click, swipe to info, and finally click the phone number to dial that contact.

I really like the idea of including a T9 dialer within the base app. It could be one of the modules in the left-swype…

    Hi Randall,

Thanks for the feedback. In your Contacts/People app, when you tap the Menu button, you should be able to select “Contacts to Display” – and from there, you can configure your phone’s contacts list to display contacts from any of the services you have installed, or to fully customize the list; this includes displaying all of your Base contacts.
I hope this helps in that regard, and if you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to let us know.

    Best wishes,
    Raf

  8. Show Google Maps when tapping contact's address

Currently, when showing contacts in the Android client, I can see the address, but can't even copy it into Google Maps to find out where the contact is. Ideally, I could just tap it and get directed to Google Maps

    Hi Maik,

Thanks for contacting us. Starting with version 2.15, our Android app has a built-in geolocation feature. It’s able to handle most addresses directly, and in the rare cases where it would need some additional info on an address, the app will be taking you to Google Maps (starting with the next update).

    Thanks for your feedback!

    Best,
    Raf

  9. Mobile add should show the full month calender while selecting the date.

Whenever I create a task in my android app with a due date. It only provide the option of date, month year. instead it should show the calender as it does in Web version.

So If someone ask me to meet next wednesday, I need not to open another calendar to find out date next week before I set a task.

    Hi Saurabh,

    Thanks for your suggestion!
We’ve implemented this with the update we released on October 16th, 2014 (version 2.35.2).

Thanks for your feedback, and best regards,

  10. Ability to associate mails with deal in android

The moment I read a mail in my android base app, I may want to attach the same to specific deals. This is how I can keep all my email related to a deal in one place without any hassel.

    Hi,
Emails are automatically associated with relevant deals (i.e. deals with the contact who sent the email) in the app. If necessary, you can remove an email from deal, when you navigate to the deal’s page.

Hope this helps, and thanks for your feedback!

  11. Adding new contacts or lead into base from google contacts in android phone

I have been using base for about a month. So far good.

Thought of requesting you to add the feature in base where I can easily add new lead or contact into base from my existing contact records in my android phone.

This pull-up feature is available in other CRMs like Zoho.

Would be greatful to base if this feature is added in the mobile version.

You all know that today most of our activities happen from our mobile phone.

    Awaiting your update.

    Hi Ramanathan,

    Thanks for your suggestion!
I’m happy to say that’s actually available already. When you open the detailed view of a contact in your contacts app, you can use the Share button (sometimes available under the additional actions menu) to send the contact to Base, as a new Base Contact or Base Lead.
And if you want to sync a large number of contacts with your Base account, you can use our Google Contacts integration (http://glurl.co/dT2).

I hope this helps, and thank you for posting!

    Best wishes,

  12. Filter by card type

  13. Closed deals also appear

On the call tracker, i would like to see the old and closed deals as well as the current deals since there are often times when my client will be calling me about an old deal and i need to keep track of the discussion.

  14. Lead names should show up on my phone the same way Contacts show up when I call or they call me.

I love the fact that my Contacts in Base show up on my Android with their name, so i know who is calling me. I make a lot of calls on behalf of other people on our team of agents.

I started using Leads, but stopped because their contact info doesn't show up on my phone the same way my Contacts in Base show up on my phone. So I stopped using Leads.

But I like the idea of have having people I've never contacted being classified as a Lead instead of a Contact, until I convert them to a…

    Hi Mike,

Happy to say that’s very much an option – just longpress on the contact’s phone number, and you’ll have a couple of options for calling show up.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi Knowell,

    Thanks for posting!
I’m glad to let you know we’ve released an update to the app today that addresses this – this widget should now sync faster, and work even better than before.

    Thank you, and best regards,

  20. add from contacts on mobile app

Have the option to add from contacts on phone. I use Hello from evernote and contact app and then it would be great to go right into base
