Have a tab in Base app that can make a very easy to use call list for on-the-go. Help me spend my time in the car more productively and safely. Give me a prioritized list Company & Contact Name of people to call while I travel. Let me just click and be connected. Would be so great for mobile productivity!31 votes
By default Android uses a ";" to indicate that the dialer should wait for an extension. Consequently, all of our phone numbers are in the 910-795-4143;101 format. When I tap the number to dial it in base it will not call. Also, if I call this number using the Android dialer base will not recognize that I've called the contact and pop up the call screen.5 votesRafal Ociepa responded
I’m happy to let you know this has been updated and Base handles the extension separator in the same way as the phone app for your device (the extension separator is not supported e.g. by stock versions of Android).
Thanks for your suggestion, and all the best,
Hello everyone !
Im doing a research for a future StartUp in Mobile Game Dev and got to a point of defining our short, medium and long term strategy. We are a small team of two developers, doing mostly products for other company's, not Game Development, and we plan to start doing Mobile Games. Based on the market trends and statistics, Casual and Hyper Casual games are most ”in demand” now, so we decided for the first period of time, for the short term, to focus on Developing Hyper Casual and Casual games. There is lot to cover but for now, lets simplify the task.
Software = Unity;
Platform = Mobile (Android and IOS).
Time to develop a product = 1-2 months.
Marketing budget = 1000-3000 USD.
Product type = Freemium Hyper Casual Games
Is there any way to have an income (1000-5000$/per game), without a publisher and using from 0-2000$ for marketing ? Im talking about real examples not ”luck” or some ”hype miracles”.
How to sell those Hyper Casual in the best way (the most profitable way) ? Any Ideas ? Any experiences ?
If not Hyper Casual then what else ?
Is there any way to sell games without investing millions into marketing and being a successful business ? Success = (Invested money) x 2
There are Millions of Hyper Casual Games on the market, how to stand out ?
One friend suggested us to create games for PC and publish them on Steam instead of Mobile, and focusing more on Casual games, with a longer time of development. What do you think about this idea, is it worth it or not ? Mobile platforms are more accessible comparative to PC...
By the way, don't get me wrong, I like Good Quality Games, but in this market, ”a good game is a well marketed game"...
If anyone have any other Ideas of how they would start or manage this business, please let me know. Any experience/opinion matters.
Thank you in advance

When entering phone numbers i continue to enter incomplete numbers, like less than 10 digits.
It would help tremendously if, when a phone number is being entered, hyphens would automatically be entered by the app, so it would be easy to spot short phone numbers. E.g. 208859994 vs 208-859-8994.1 vote
Make won deals still visible in active and android in order to make comments and track job through completion1 voteRafal Ociepa responded
Thanks for your feedback. The Android app now has the option to let you view closed deals (including Won) directly from the Contact’s card – and you can also access Won deals through the Deals tab in the app, and the Sales Pipeline tab in the web version of Base.
All the best,
When i take photo/video with android mobile device, with device vertical, and upload the photo/video, they are horizontal on desktop with no way to rotate unless I download onto pc. Change this so uploads maintain vertical stance.1 vote
