  1. Why is Base "Voice" only available for Enterprise Level?

    There are many small businesses that would use Base VOICE service if it was just ideally just the call costs. in other words it would be available to all levels in your service plan fee structure. For small startups with 2 to 5 staff this would be really vital service, but can not justify the fee for enterprise version

    The core Voice experience (calls, text messages for eligible numbers) is available for all plans, with some additional capabilities available to Enterprise subscribers.

  2. Functionality to amend loss reason

    I am taking over the management of our base account. Lots of people have historically created many reasons why deals have been lost. I want to be able to bucket these, by editing those reasons already allocated to lost deals? Please could you make it happen for me? PS I love Base

    Users are able to adjust Deal loss reasons in Settings>Deals>Loss Reasons.

  3. add email to lead, not just a deal

    Hi,
    I've been using Base for 2 mo and love it. I'd like to be able to bcc or fwd an email to a lead, not just a deal. Is there a way I can do this?

    It is possible to BCC emails to Leads within Base using your Contacts BCC email address!

  7. Phone call activity on desktop version.

    I use Base on my android, my ipad and my desktop... I like being able to see at a glace all the calls I've made to my clients from my ipad, but my desktop version doesn't display this... would be nice to see it consistent throughout all platforms.

  8. 'save and add another' button for leads, contacts, etc.

    Simply allow you to save the data being entered and open a new page to add another.

  11. Include a date format setting in settings

    Outside of the US, only incremental or decrementing date formats are used (dd/mm/yyyy or yyyy/mm/dd). It would help to have those settings available as choice in set-up.
    The person that suggested this programme to me stated that his company could not use Base for exactly that reason...

    Hi Marc,

    And I’m happy to let you know this setting is already available, though I admit, perhaps not the easiest to find.
    When you set your time format (i.e. 24 or 12-hour clock), this also sets the date. 24-hour clock gives you dd/mm/yyyy, while the 12-hour clock sets the US date format.

  12. edit button on a contacts page

    Please consider adding an edit button to the top of the page. Currently when I add a contact via the web clipper from Linkedin, the person's description is so long that I really have to scroll down to the edit button. It would help tremendously if you add it to the top of the page.

  13. Keep the add line always at the top of the page

    If I'm a dozen or more entries on a page (Leads, Contacts, Deals) and I decide to add an entry, I have to page to the top to add it.

    It would be nice if the add line was stagnant header instead part of the entry display

  15. Task list when viewed on computer shows who is assigned to task

    Right now when you view the tasks on a laptop/desktop you see a laundry list of tasks but not who is assigned to each task. This is very difficult to manage a team with since I need to know who is responsible for each task. You guys have made it look great on mobile devices since tasks are filtered by person responsible, but the same thing doesn't happen on regular online version.

    When will you have a proper iPad version. The iphone version on an iPad is a little cheesy.

    Also, what happens if I don't refer anyone? Am I limited to 25 deals?

  18. Ability to tag imports

    I've just done an import of >2,000 contacts. Firstly it was extremely slow. It stuck at "0% complete" literally for hours. I was looking for a "cancel" button at one point. Once it finally started, it progressed fine, but I think you need to somehow let the user know more accurately how long it will take.
    Second: I just moved over from Batchbook which asks you when you do an import if you want to tag the records (e.g. importfromfred). This is very useful, if not essential. Otherwise you end up with an extra 2,000 (in my case)…
