  1. Copy deals

    Sometimes we have returning deals which are exactly the same or similar. Would be nice to copy a deal from the past.

  2. Task Templates

    Add a series of tasks based on preset user defined templates. i.e. apply the template to set a task to follow up with customer 60 days after the date in a custom field, like 'closing date'.

    Automated actions doesn't cover it. I want to choose when to apply the template to add these tasks, and the tasks should be able to be based on data contained in custom fields.

  3. Build customer org chart

    It would be great to have a "reports to" field for contacts and then be able to generate simple org charts at the click of a button thanks to that information.

  4. Mass emailing linked to deal stages

    Be able to select prospects by "deal stage" and send a mass emailing. Example; you integrate 10 new leads, you send a mass emailing, 5 answer and they convert to prospects, you want to send these 5 additional information all at the same time. Important SFA - CRM function when all you want to do is target certain prospects with specific messages related to their position in the pipeline. Thanks.

  5. Dashboard history filtering option 'email'

    In the Dashboard there is a pull down next to 'display' that allows me to filter items in the Dashboard history. I would like 'email' to be displayed so I can see who I've sent an email to. Otherwise I have to go through every deal and manually determine who I done this for.

  6. Basic formatting for notes

    Currently there is no formatting option at all for notes. It would be great to have at least some super-basic formatting options like bold, italic, bullet points...

    Our specific use-case is that during a meeting we use a collaboratively editable document for notes (so everybody sees the notes in real-time). We'd like to later add these notes to Base (to the deal, lead or contact). However using a Word document for this is bulky, not to mention that such notes get outdated so I'd like to handle them in the time line, like with notes. So it would be great…

  7. Add Cases

    I would be great if you could add a "Case" tab (like Leads, etc) so that we could track past Deals that may have an issue that needs to be resolved.

  8. Apply NOTES (or TASKS) to multiple CONTACTS at once.

    It would be good to be able to apply a NOTE (or even TASK) to multiple CONTACTS>

    I often need to repeat the same procedure or task for numerous contacts in the same company or industry.

    There are a couple of other suggestions here that combine this with the ability to add NOTES to TASKS. All this helps build a better detailed history.

  9. Calculation Fields (Comission)

    I am an independent sales rep. Commissions are how we calculate our success. It would be awesome to have a calculation field (custom field option) so we can understand our commission based off of the deal value. One step further would be the ability to run reports. I suppose with Smart Lists that would be possible. Thoughts around custom calculation fields??

  10. save images as a note

    I often take a photo at a meeting, and/or hand write notes, which I then take a photo of. There seems to be no way of saving a photo as a 'note'. The only way seems to be saving a document to a contact. However it cannot be viewed in Base. Also, I cant see how to view documents on the iphone app.

    is there a way to integrate google hangouts with an live chat option for CRM purposes right from the website? or something similar? I will like to see a live chat option is possible.

  12. When looking at tasks you can only look at the next 7 days, and NOT the past 7 days.

    It would be useful to be able to see the past seven days easily without having to scroll through the dates so we know who has missed out a task etc.

  13. Make a task due on a specific date, but don't include a time

    There are certain general tasks that should be done on a Friday. I'd like to have them due on Firday, but not have to set a time that they are due.

  14. Reminder me if i haven't had a reply from an email

    Be able to set a task to reminder me to follow up with a contact if they have not replied to an email i have sent from base.

    Basically using the same functionality that yesware or rightinbox give you in gmail but build into base crm email as you can't use those extension in base.

  16. Automated Action Dependencies

    I feel like I'm not getting full use out of my automated actions. Currently, 10 of my automated actions are set to remind me to check in with potential customers at different stages of our sales pipeline. When I move a deal from stage 1 to stage 2 and then to stage 3 in a matter of days, the automated actions from stage 1 and 2 are no longer relevant to the deal.

    LE IDEA: Is there some way to have Base autoremove automated actions from pipeline stage 1 when I switch to stage 2 (or even straight to stage…

  17. Addition to Smart List

    We are a manufacturer, who works regularly with distributors. Distributors with their own sales force and sales managers - who want joint-call activity reports. Adding a column for "Notes", that would allow for quickly updating sales managers with ALL comments added to pending deals would be very helpful.

  18. Skype messaging in customer notes

    I know that there is a VOIP system in base now, and recording skype calls will not happen, however what about skype IM's?

    We talk to our customers a lot on skype and it would be great to have those conversations in the account as well. Things said and promised in skype are as important as emails!

  19. Show incoming E-mail, SMS and Calls in the dasboard activity feed.

    Show incoming E-mail, SMS and Calls and outgoing SMS and e-mail in the dashboard activity feed. This includes missed calls.

    When you log in to Base you are first presented with the Dashboard. If the Dashboard activity feed does not show all activity it is useless for managing your work.

    Especially when it does not show the activities that your customers have initiated, since those are the most important activities to have in an activity feed.

    Please up-vote if you want to avoid missing incoming e-mails, SMS and missed calls.

  20. Section in Leads for a company who is not interested or using a competitor solution

    Hi, I like to keep track of companies I contact in Leads, it allows me to see if had contacted a company in the past or not. It would be useful if there was a subsection within leads such as

    "Using a competitor"
    "too small".

    If I could break leads down into categories It would allow me to build up a list of people that are not interested that could be kept out of my "live" leads section, but still in a database that I could review in 12 months time. I like to keep my leads section tidy. Putting…
