Enable non-branded IMAP email accounts, instead of Google, iCloud, etc
Please allow us to use our own email systems, rather than a specifically branded email account (such as Google, iCloud, etc). I use my own IMAP server (actually, Rackspace Webmail) and would like to integrate it into Base. Many thanks!
This request came in in 2012...is this still not implemented??

Also use multiple email addresses from multiple domains. In my situation I use 3 different products with each their domain name and own email.
If this as technical as I am seeing with you well experience technical,
they need to update this so it will be not a time consuming event, that end
up frustrating a lot of new members. Hopefully Base will listen and help everyone, so that the program is user friendly, not complicated. I am new to
this, and I do not have time, to waste like everyone else.
Hopefully Base Future Simple will help and they will get a lot of Business.

I don't care if this is implemented via POP or IMAP, I just want Base to work with standards-based email servers. This should be pretty trivial for any account that allows sending email w/ password authentication, and it'd make the service infinitely more valuable for me.

Exactly. I can't use gmail or yahoo because I need to get the name of my company out there in the email and I have a specific signature that needs to be used. I'd love to have this integration. It'd be so useful.
This should be an Integration request (not currently categorized as such). It applies to POP3 accounts, not just IMAP (which is more difficult to implement). The goal is to send email using the business domain, not gmail or yahoo. If you want your customers to be "living in" Base, I really need to access business email.
I really need this too... We cannot send emails to our customers from iCloud and gmail accounts - it does not look professional. We really need this for business use.
I can't use base email until this feature is implemented. I already know all the technical details (server addresses etc.) that would need to be input to connect my email to base. Just give me the ability to input this data into base so that everyone in my company can use it.
We should have this feature other than a pre-determined selection of e-mail accounts.
I agree, this would streamline much work.
