Why can't a contact have more than one email?
You can now add other email addresses as custom fields.

I agree this SHOULD NOT be a custom field but rather an option to add an additional main field, we can put in and track TWO phone numbers (work and mobile) so we should be able to track TWO emails (work and personal) Thanks for all the hard work BASE let's make this happen!
Im a real estate agent, and I interact with multiple parties on behalf of my clients. I would love to track these emails with-in the contact card however not as a note but as an email entry. This obviously would enable a new section with in the contact card perhaps called "Parties" were all relevant parties to the clients would be stipulated. From a business stand point, not tracking these interaction efficiently affects production and output. Please advise.

You can set up the custom field(s) for additional email addresses in the Contacts settings page: https://app.futuresimple.com/settings/contacts.

What happened to this? I can't find this custom field anywhere. Also, emails need to be tracked and it needs to sync multiple addresses from Google contacts. This is a deal breaker!

Michael has a good point. It would be great if we could add a secondary email within the main entry field. Maybe just a plus sign next to the field for those that need it.

This isn't a real solution to this problem unfortunately. I have some contacts who email me from different accounts on occasion, and the system does not track custom fields with email in them the same way they track the email field.
Customer emails me from firstname.lastname@example.org. I save that as a contact in Base. Then the customer emails me back from an alias email of email@example.com. I can add that as a custom field, but it breaks the chain of communication with the client from within Base, and it also ends up with me having a duplicate contact entry in Base when I want to import recent email exchanges.

Right now, I can only have one email address. That seems crazy. I imported all my contacts from Highrise which does support this... does that mean one would lose all that information? I ask because many contacts have multiple emails and write from more than one of them...
