Forward emails to Base using Google Apps
Send an email straight into Base from Google by clicking a button "add message to deal" in the Google App
Today we released an update for the Base Google App. It now includes a button that forwards emails to your Base account. You can learn more about this update here: https://getbase.com/blog/base-for-google-apps-update
I’d like to thank everyone who took the time to vote and provide feedback for this feature. I hope you enjoy the new Google App. Please do not forget to rate the app if you find it helpful.

This feature is very nice but not yet perfect. It would be great to be able to choose within google mail which email contact it should be attached to. Often a Base user has to attach a forwarded email to a Base card and Base does not handle forwarded emails as expected (attaches them to the person forwarding instead of the original sender).
Agreed. Even just being able to go to 'related emails' or something would be helpful. Now I need to go out of Base and into my gmail (apps) to find them.
This would be a much needed feature for me. I use Basecamp extensively and one of the features I like is a unique email address it creates for every project, deal or a case. I can forward an email or BCC to this address so that my communications to the team or to the client are automatically tracked under that deal.
Josh has this been accomplished yet? As you know in Salesforce they have apps both for Gmail and Outlook that links emails coming back from leads/contacts back into system so one can see a timeline of events on emails.
