Ability to sync with iPhone contacts
The iPhone app is great. I would be even better if I were able to import iphone contacts into Base selectively. I don't want to import all of the contacts, but I found myself entering in contact information in Base that I know is right there on the phone.

You can use PieSync to sync your BaseCRM contacts with your iPhone contacts (via Google Contacts) - both ways!
When you create a 2-way sync between BaseCRM <> Google contacts you can select an option to "Also sync to the Google 'My Contacts' group" since only contacts in "My contacts" are synced with iPhone.
Here's more information regarding the sync: http://help.piesync.com/knowledge_base/topics/base-crm
Hope this will save you some time with manual contact entries!
Also definitely for this..!
needs to sync with ios contacts "contacts journal" does a great job at this and I almost chose it over base because of this!

I also think this is a fantastic idea. Most of my business contacts only reside in Base, however they do have my cell phone number obviously when I call them. It would be nice if I could sync the Base contacts as a separate group/account on my iPhone. I would really like to see which customer is calling me by syncing contacts, rather than adding contacts to Base, and then turning around to enter them in my iPhone. Seems redundant. Great Idea! Please implement!
Has this been implemented?
- It's been planned for over 2 years!

I agree with this one. Don't forget to allow us to add a group of contacts already in the address book. Some users use the group function to section off business nod personal contacts. Please add 'Add Group' to the select contacts options.
great idea - saves time

Thanks Josh, sounds great. I look forward to using it!
Great idea, we agree! This is a feature that we have been working on and recently finished. In the next few days we will be releasing an update for the iPhone app that allows you to do this.
