  2. Include attachments in emails

    I'd like for the emails I BCC to my dropbox to include the attachments. I often send an SOW or proposal doc to a prospect/client and I'd like to be able to reference that in the contact info.

  3. Allow multiple e-mails per contact

    Many of my contacts use more than one e-mail address interchangeably. Base doesn't allow adding multiple e-mail addresses to one contact. One workaround that was suggested here was to add it as a custom field. However, this will not display e-mail correspondence with that e-mail address on the contact page/profile.

    Hi there!

    The emails from the emails in these custom fields should absolutely sync over. As long as the custom field type is Email Address, emails to and from that address should sync over. If it is not, can you please reach out to support@getbase.com and we can help further troubleshoot?

  4. Save draft emails

    I seem to routinely loose emails that I have started or finished and had to leave to go to another area in BASE or hit a key in error. The email is lost. This is highly frustrating as most of the email I send is original in content. Actually it is painful.

    This functionality has now been released and works when you leave the page with opened composer or switches to “Add a Note” or “Send a Text Message” boxes.

    Such emails along with subject, recipients and attachments is saved and restored if the user comes back to this page within 24 hours.

  5. Filter sent e-mails by opened / clicked

    How can we easily filter/export e-mails that have been viewed / clicked? We want to apply different strategies depending on whether leads have/ havn't read our e-mail, and now we have to scroll the sent e-mail list and go one-by-one. Thanks!!

  6. Multiple e-mail addresses for single contact

    no Idea but, I have multiple contacts that have more than one e-mail address and they seem to randomly use one or the other and Base does not capture the entire convertation when the enduser replies with different e-mail address

  7. Being able to blacklist a received email from the inbox

    Currently to blackmail an email address you have to go to the settings page/email/blacklist.

    Please implement a blacklist email (preferably bulk blacklist) option directly from the inbox view.

    This would save time and steps.

    Users are now able to add a secondary email address for users a an ‘Email’ custom field type!

  10. Notify when there exists unread email

    Why bother adding email integration if you aren't going to let the sales guy know he received a reply?

    This should be front and center.

    Great suggestion – I’d actually recommend sorting your Contacts list by Actionable Item. This will float Contacts with unread emails to the top of the list whenever they come in. Quick screenshot here – http://take.ms/Fxn3Z

  11. Reply to e-mail threads within base auto-attaches previous attachments

    When I reply to an e-mail I previously sent in Base, it automatically includes the attachments I originally sent over in the reply. Can this be fixed?

    Hi,

    Thank you for your feedback!. I’m happy to inform you that now when you Reply to an e-mail it won’t add attachments automatically. Attachments will be added only after selecting Forward option.

  12. Ability to exclude certain emails from Base

    If you or a client were to add 'EXC' / 'EXCLUDE' to a subject line then the email is not imported into Base.

    This would stop personal / irrelevant emails from clogging up Base.

  13. Associate emails with deals

    Idea: Associate emails with a deal in the communications center

    When I click on the communications center, it allows me to view emails, but that's about it. I cannot find a way to associate those emails with a deal from the communications center. It would be great if Base allowed users to associate emails to deals from the communications center.

    Thanks for posting!
    You can associate emails with a deal (as shown here: http://take.ms/TI6yp) provided the email is to/from a contact who’s listed on the deal, and that it’s not older than the deal.

  15. email without mailchimp

    Simplify our lives and dump mailchimp integration. Have the ability to email to tags/groups etc from within BASE without the 100 email limit. Reporting, responses, opens, unsubscribes can all get posted straight to Base immediately.

  16. The ability to track emails based on number of opens and clicks

    Would like the ability to sort email tracking to be able to see who has opened the emails (the most) and clicks on links as well.

  17. Who opened my email?

    I got a notification that "someone" opened an email, but unless I'm not adept I couldn't see any way to determine who that "someone" is. I can do this in Sidekick, but not here. Hmmm.

    Thanks for posting!
    When there’s a single recipient of an email, we always indicate that it was the recipient who opened your message.
    For multiple recipients, we can only tell that someone’s opened the message, but we can’t reliably indicate a specific person there – and that’s also the way Sidekick does it.

  18. Bulk Email From Deals Option.

    It would be nice to be able to send a bulk email directly from a deals window. This would speed up customer contact and maximize efficiencies.

    Would like to know when there will be email can responses for the iphone app? The app is such a big part of the service I use and a my business partners use and we love it but it needs this option.
