How can we improve Sell?

  1. Ability to export reports in PDF

    Ability to export the reports to PDF, and do a PDF "status report" with a dashboard of deal pipeline, won/lost deals, and decomposition by deal source.

  2. Custom reports

    Provide for the user to design their own report. I would like to be able to produce a phone directory or an address book to help guide me on calls.

  3. Ability to change dates in reports based on financial year

    It would be nice to have the ability to change the dates in reports based on financial year of the company we work in.

  4. When in reporting mode it would be so useful to drill down into the detail

    It is really frustrating not to be able to find how the total figures are arrived at i.e. in the pipeline by clicking on one of the stages it would then list the pieces of business that make up the totals. Unless I am missing something this doesn't appear to be possible and the only way to find this sort of detail is by exporting the whole account each time

  5. Allow "Lead Sources" Category to Convert to CONTACTS

    This could be considered a suggestion for either the Reporting side or the Leads side.

    Always found it a bit odd that "Lead Sources" do not convert with Contacts. Still seems like useful information when looking to better understand how a person moved from Lead > Customer or Prospect.

    That said, I don't think this is necessary for the DEAL "Source" fields as I personally view those as two distinctly separate types of opportunity drivers. If the Lead Source did flow through into Deals as well, I would keep those distinctly separate.

  6. Have it count how many phone calls and emails have been made...

    It would be really great if, as Base already logs calls/emails, it then actually counted phone calls/emails made/received.

    And then if it could recognise the calls made at different stages of deals. Here's why.

    It would be great to go into reports, and see how many phone calls/emails are necessary on average to take a deal to the next stage, or even how many calls/emails are necessary to win a deal.

    This would then give you valuable data such as how much each phone call/email is worth to you, monetarily - overall, and broken-down, stage-by-stage.

    You can already view the number of calls made using the Call Count report (http://glurl.co/d6W). We continue to work on expanding the reports center, so just give us time, and those updates will be there.

  7. referral tree

    My business i heavily rooted in referrals. I need to be able to track who my biggest impacts have come from. It would be great if I could see a kind of mind map that went back to each individual. IE if Fred referred Eli and Eli referred John and Nancy, then I would like to be able to pull a kind of referral tree out that showed Fred linked to Eli linked to John and Nancy so that I could track that Fred actually yielded 3 referrals not just Eli...Especially important to keep track of compensation splits!!!

  8. Spread a 'sales forecast' over a period of time

    For example;

    1. We sell a media opportunity to an advertising agency for one of their clients XYZ.
    2. The media value is $100k and will deliver over 4 months (September-December)
    3. We need to show the $100k value split evenly over those 4 months, to build a sales forecast.
    4. This would mean when I create the 'Deal' i need to select a start and end date for the Deal.

  9. View deal values within the funnel analysis report

    Hi,

    It would be great to see the value of stages within the Sales Funnel Analysis. We track volume, value and conversion. You've nailed volume and conversion, it would be great to see value there also to highlight the upside of addressing conversion issues

  10. Pre Scheduled Exports

    Provide the capability to schedule exports daily/weekly/biweekly, etc. to a predefined list of email recipients. As a sales director this would be extremely helpful as I'm traveling to not have to worry about how I'll get data extracted and delivered to the other executive team members. Usually these reports are due weekly.

  12. Product Forecasting Reports

    A report based on forecasted products or the ability to customize the current product by closed sales to other stages is needed in Base. The current reports only reflect the forecasted sales numbers, but many companies have multiple products that need projection to maintain best inventory, etc.

  13. Report on Tasks Completed

    G'day. Loving this so far. When I assign tasks to my Sales Reps I'd like to be able to produce a report on who completed their tasks successfully and how many tasks (i.e. a %) were completed over a period.

  14. Set Year Start Date

    For Sales Goals reports, I would like to be able to set the start date of our own financial year, so instead of always starting from the month of January, we can set our own month as the start month for the 12 month (yearly) report on sales.

  15. Linkable Reports

    You have a bunch of useful reports however, you don't expose filters & tags (options generally speaking) in the URL. As a result if i want to send a link of that report to a colleague I can't.

    I also can't attach it on presentations, documents or different platforms that we internally use and that is really important.
    Exporting things in a CSV / Excel (which you do offer in some) doesn't really help because we have to re-create your functionality + charts which we're not interested if we just want to show this report in another place.

  16. Reporting and financial year

    Our company financial / sales year runs from June to June. On the drop downs within the reports it gives you the option to change the view from week, month, year etc. Would it be possible to add financial / sales year which could be programmed in the settings menu?

    It could be good to know how much time I spent on each deal within stages (some sort of stopwatch etc).

  18. Add "Last Note Entered" to the custom reports menu. This would help populate an update report to reflect the latest input on each deal

    When creating a custom report (ie weekly sales update), If "last note entered" were an option on the report menu, then the report would have relevant and recent input included in the report.

  20. Add a report to show won/loss by account

    Need a report that will show the won/loss percentage by client (account).
