  1. Two-factor authentication using Google Authenticator

    To increase account security the user can enable two-factor authentication using Google Authenticator (is open source).

    When using two-factor authentication the system would ask for the password and a number created by the app (available for iOS and Android).

  3. Count number of events for Lead, Contact or Deal

    Having a way of extracting the number of Calls, Emails, Meetings and Notes for a specific Lead, Contact or Deal.

    This could be included as available Columns in Smartlists.

  4. Remove BASE Branding from "ENTERPRISE" Packages all together

    As an Enterprise customer of Base, I am disappointed that I do not have the ability to brand the product for my business. I think it would make sense to allow ENTERPRISE level clients to do the following:


    1. Brand BASE to their organization, by:
      a) Allow us to swap the logo at the top-left corner for our own (or any of our choosing)
      b) Allow us to MASK the IP, or give us a dedicated login page (for which we could mask the domain to one of our choosing)

  5. Add Folders to Repository and within the Documents Section

    It would be very helpful to manage the Document section in Company Cards and Deals if the Documents section had the ability to add folders. Finding a way to manage all the files would be very helpful. For example being able to group all templates in the Repository into one folder.

  7. Feature/User Based Pricing

    Most CRM's don't really seem to understand how organizations use their features, and Base is no different. Overall I like BASE but it's cost is prohibitve. If I want to increase the number of users, I have to pay a dramatically higher cost. If I want certain features, I have to pay a dramatically higher cost - even if I don't want many of the standard features. I don't mind paying for something. It just needs to make sense. Limiting my team to five users makes no sense. Charging me three times as much per user if I go above…

    Just like the "Tasks" icons that lists all the "Tasks" associated with every deal, create an icon that lists just "Notes" to view all Notes created. While I use Evernote as my "digital notebook," any notes associated with clients and prospects should be able to be associated with them rather than using 2 separate programs to so. Tried that 2 years ago, and so this year, started using "Notes." However, there's no easy way to access all Notes, except for "Dashboard," which also shows deal creating and movement through pipeline. May use Outlook next year for this so that I…

  9. User Access Control (Based on: Time of Day, IP Address, Network Connection, etc...)

    I do not want my users working from home.

    Given that all of my users have their USER ID's and PASSWORDS for Base, and know the URL, they could log in anytime, from anywhere, and I have no control over that.

    As the ADMIN of the Base Account, I think it makes sense to give the ADMIN role the ability to manage user access to the account based on "User", "Team", or "Group".

    We are currently working on SSO solutions (like Okta or OneLogin) – with one of these solutions it will offer the ability to control user login (by time, IP, etc), and should achieve the goal you are looking for.

  11. Allow title for the product field in deal product list

    At the moment when you add product line items to a deal there is no way of labeling them. You can end up with the same line item (say "Content Production") repeating several times when you want to split out different parts of the project. The issue is that there is no way to label these with what they were. For example "Script writing", "Chinese Translations", etc.

    You should be able to label each line item in some way.

    Hello! The translation from the new layout seems a little strange in Portuguese.
    In the superior menu It is Add (Adicionar)
    Contatar pessoa = Contact person - should be better Create a Person = Criar Pessoa
    Contatar empresa = Contact Enterprise = should be bettter Criar Empresa
    it was confusing to understand was there to create that.

  15. Display edits or additions to deal card under the "Activity" area.

    When the data in a field or custom field on the deal card is edited or added it would be great to see what changed under the "Activity" section. For instance a collaborator could go into a deal and edit the deal card to update that a customer updated the # of units from 200 to 100 units. It would be great to display this change on the "Activity" portion. Currently this has to be tracked by adding a note after making changes/edits to the deal card.   16. custom tracking

    in my line of work i always have to return to a customers home after a set time has passed. there is no set time its just when we are in the area. what i would like is to be able to do is a quick access to custom page like tasks and calendar and maps all mixed into one so i can set a recall to my customers home. i can type in recall and see all the open recalls i need to go back to and close my customers file. if there is something like this already please…

  17. Would be useful to associate non-BASE users with a team to manage sales performance throughput .

    I have a team of charter sales people who currently have Base user licences but they do not use Base at all. Sales data that is captured through an integration with an outside system apportions each Deal to an owner as their performance is measured.
    It would therefore be useful to dispense with the user licence and just have the owner as a piece of data.

  18. Products - possible updates

    Just started implementing Products into our Deals but could do with one or two more features:
    - Add SKU on Product Catalogue - think this was declined in a previous post but would be useful.
    - Ability to export product Product Catalogue.
    - When in Product Catalogue, if the selection box is ticked for all products it cannot be unticked.
    - Once the selection box is ticked in the Product Catalogue the only options are to Delete. It would be useful to have option to Export or carry out multiple edits ie Change to Active, change to MarkUp.

  20. Make an option to display date differently!

    Please, please, please give us the ability here in New Zealand to switch the format of the date around!!! We put the day first, and then the month, and then the year (i.e. 25/12/18). This is causing us unbelievable confusion and mayhem!!! Thank you in advance!!
