  1. Import tasks to Base via CSV file

The ability to import a csv file and have the tasks added to Base - the same way notes are imported and attached to contacts.

  2. Memorized Import Mapping

We use a web form for customers to submit referrals. The format of this form never changes. It would be awesome to have a memorized Import mapping function so we didn't have to map our leads each time!

  3. Update import so that it maps to Contact ID for changes/updates (rather than name and email).

As I understand it, the import function reads the name and email columns in an import to make changes and updates to existing contacts. This is very flawed because a) the export produces first name and last name in one column and the import requires them to be split and 2) if someone doesn't have an email address they cannot be updated through an import.

It makes no sense to me why BASE import wouldn't read / match through the unique contact ID number. Is there a reason?

  4. Import multiple deals and be able to assign them to multiple accounts already in Base via the Account ID.

Import multiple deals and be able to assign them to multiple accounts already in Base via the Account ID. I am surprised this is not already a function built into Base. This was a very common thing I use to be able to do in MS Access, and is one reason to have a relational database, to be able to upload and assign new data to existing records. This would save me a ton of time typing hundreds of deals I have to enter each month.

  5. Scan Business Cards into contacts

I use evernote to scan business card since it does such a great job of importing all the vital data, can there be an integration to bring this info over?

  6. "Save Layout" Feature for daily importing to Lead, Contacts & Deals!

I'm doing daily Lead imports of the same file from Landvoice.com ( Expird Listing ) and its time consuming to click each box and ignore the ones that I don't need and choose through th elist of custom Fields that are always the same each day.

I wish there was a simple "Save Template" button that can be custom named so it was a 1 click the import ordeal.

Im sure many who import often would appreciate the ease and simplicity of a one time layout creation tool integrated in the importing section for Leads, Contacts, & Deals!

  7. Be able to import lead custom fields

When importing a CSV-file to Leads, there is no way to import custom lead fields, I can only assign the CSV fields to basic lead fields.

  8. Import Leads/Contacts Through Excel Document to a Smart List

The ability to import multiple leads/contacts through a single Excel file into a Smart List. For example - if i call/meet with 50 new prospects in 1 day I manually have to enter them one by one. If we could create a Excel template that could be used to import all these contacts and organize it in a Smart List this would make things more organized and less time consuming.

Thank you for your consideration! :)

  9. Salesforce data migration with history

As a 7-year user of Salesforce, the history of appointments / tasks is very important for me to track. I've found Base to be a very positive experience in my trial period, but think this would be a highly compelling function to enticing Salesforce users to jump ship.

  10. Save CSV Mapping

We routinely import leads from another app using CSV as the interchange format. Each time I do this I have to remap the fields all over again. It would be nice to save the mappings and be able to reapply them next time I do the import. This would save me 10 minutes or more per import.

  11. Saved import templates to be used for repetitive imports

In data entry from emails containing standard lead information, it would be handy to be able to save templates from previous imports. This would eliminate the time consuming task of reassigning data variables at each import.
