  1. Sync appointments to outlook calendar

    Is it possible to add functionality to the outlook add in so that appointments (and perhaps also tasks) are synced with outlook from Base? (Along the lines of the salesforce outlook add in but which actually works...) We use exchange not google mail (we need higher levels of email security) and have no way of syncing between the 2 calendars, which is a major problem in scheduling meetings.

    Thanks for your feedback! I’m happy to say that we’ve started work on an integration with Office 365’s calendar system, and we’re hoping to roll this out Q3 of this year. We’ll keep you posted!

  2. View and Manager appointments for others

    I have reviewed the new appointments module and it is great with one exception. It would be very handy to allow others to view and even manage your calendar for you.

    We’re happy to say that appointment is coming to Base!

    We’ve listened to your feedback and taken the suggestions on board for this functionality and are scheduled to begin work on appointment sharing functionality later this year.

    Naturally we’ll let you know once this is underway and will keep you updated throughout the process.

  3. Appointment Outcomes

    A feature that prompts a user for an outcome after an appointment or meeting. Similar to the prompt given after a call on an Android phone with Base installed. The outcome would then be listed in the activity feed of a Contact/Deal/Lead. It would be great if it could include custom fields for predefined outcomes, an option to schedule a follow up appointment, and a section to make notes etc

  4. logging a meeting (like logging a call)

    Once I have a meeting with a client/customer, I want to LOG that meeting (like logging a call) with summary, action items, follow-up tasks etc.

    I don't always use "Appointments" as the source of scheduling and keeping track of the meetings so I would like the OPTION of logging a meeting without having it necessarily linked to an appointment.

    Key things - to have who was there at the meeting, what was the topic, where did it take place, meeting outcomes, follow-up, action items, suggestion to send a follow-up email -- and then did this move the deal forward (i.e.…

  7. When creating a scheduled appointment...auto populate the location as the lead/contact address

    When scheduling appointments...we found that 90% of the time it will occur at the lead or contact address....you have to exit from the appointment screen and copy paste or review the address then go back and type it in....if this was auto populated it would save a few steps....

  11. SMS appointment reminders to contacts and owners

    Before Base we were using a system that allowed us to send automated SMS appointment reminders. With that we were able to decrease no-shows by over a third. It worked like this and we hope that this can become a Base feature:

    Let's say I enter a new appointment via the calender in Base and add an existing contact to the appointment.

    If the contact has a mobile phone number, Base would now send them an appointment confirmation like this:

    Your appointment with [contact owner] at [date and time] has been confirmed. Location: [appointment location].

    The contact owner would get…

  13. Add appointments to your teammate's calendar

    In our team, we have some heroes, that fill our field worker's calendars with appointments from new leads.

    It would be amazing, if we can directly create an appointment over base and choose with teammate takes part

  14. Invite non-contacts/leads to Appointments

    We need the ability to invite people that are not contacts or leads. For instance, other people at my company like a sales engineer or support tech. This is a BASIC requirement for complex sales engagements.

    Automatic appointment naming should be a basic feature. It should prompt you what type of appointment it is and then name it after the contact and deal.. Appointment Name Ex: Meeting - Company A, Deal X

  17. Fix Running Late Notification Emails for Appointments

    Currently when you send a "Running Late" notification, it ends the email with the word "Cheers," (with a comma!) but then no name or signature underneath. It's a very strange way to sign off the email, and looks very unprofessional and unpolished.

    Please remedy this. Putting the user's name, or standard email signature, or any other number of solutions would be fine!

  18. Leeting customers schedule their own appointments

    It would be great to have the ability for prospects schedule their own appointments. Right now I have to manage two calendars and it would be GREAT to have people schedule their own appointments to avoid the email back and forth.

  19. Add 'activity sets' to Base functionality to create tasks and appointments at one time for one contact/lead/deal

    Other CRM's have "Activity Sets", which essentially allow you to set up tasks and events (appointments) all at one time, in an order, all on one lead, contact, or deal. This prevents users from having to go in and manually add these separately, and at different times, during the process of working with that customer.   20. Contact address drop down when booking appointments

    When scheduling an appointment have all related addresses for the client available in a drop down to choose from. Otherwise you have to cancel appointment creation to go back and copy address just to create the appointment again.
