  2. Function to add comments/notes to tasks

    The ability to add comments to tasks could help build a more useful history. The progress made towards each task could then be recorded in a relevant and easy to find place.

    For example, I may have a 'task' to work with a supplier to develop a business case for a client as one element of a 'deal', setting the task up and then being able to record progress would be very useful.

  3. Add priority to tasks, for tagging tasks that MUST be done today.

    if you could tag tasks, for eg. 'hot' like you can deals, and be able to filter the 'hot' tasks that would be very useful. this would be for the URGENT and IMPORTANT tasks that MUST be done today. Sometimes our task list us so long it is easy to miss urgent ones.

  4. Tags for Tasks

    I'm trying out Base now, considering a switch from Highrise. One thing I'd really miss, though, is the ability to tag tasks and then view by tag. This lets me use tags, for example, to see all my phone calls at once, then switch over to all my emails, etc, etc. VERY helpful for getting things done.

  5. Ability to edit dates for tasks and notes

    When creating or editing a task or note having the functionality to change the date. For example, entering a note about a meeting that was held yesterday could be dated as yesterday instead of the date the note was created.

  6. Get base reminders as a daily email

    It can be quite confusing getting 10-20 email reminders through each morning, is it possible to send 1 email listing all the outstanding tasks for the day?

  7. Auto follow ups on task complete

    If you believe that you should stay in contact with your customers on a regular basis, then it would be great to have an auto follow up option that pops up when a task is completed. It's not right for everyone, so I'd make it turn off/on able in settings. Essentially, when you complete any task, you are prompted to follow up by adding another task in xxx hours/days/weeks/months. That get's added to your task list as a new task.

  8. Send Email in AutomatedActions

    When you create Automated Actions you should be able to attach am email with attachments to that Action. This way it is more "Automated" and not just a reminder. It would be nice for this to also work the same way in tasks.

    Example: I move a deal from stage 1 to 2, and my client gets an email with a document they must fill out.

  10. More Immersive Task Management

    Could you create something with a little more flexibility in terms of task management? It's the one thing I feel the CRM is missing. I need to be able to schedule calls at exact times (not just on the hour), and presenting an on-screen reminder, rather than just sending an email would also be a plus. I need to be able to actually manage what I'm doing with my contacts on Base, not just store their information - at the moment, I'm setting my reminders on my iPhone, but I'd rather Base were telling me.

  11. Automated tasks should include the ability to add tasks based on....

    ....tagging or mailchimp list adds.

    For example when I add a contact, sure there are some standard tasks based on a standard approach, but say I tag someone a sales guy or a marketing guy or a tech guy or a designer, I want to be able to customize an approach based on their role or tag.

    This goes the same with MailChimp. Perhaps when I tag someone with a designation like 'designer' I want them automatically added to a mailing list. That is an automated task and I'd love to see that either done automagically or facilitated within the…

  12. Sorting the order of Tasks

    When working through my tasks on a daily basis, I often want to see the task with the most recent date to ensure that I don't miss anything. I find it frustrating that I have to keep scrolling to the bottom to find these calls. Could more options be added on how the calls are sorted?

  16. Time and date adjustment

    All the other CRMs i've used allow you to adjust or specify the time and date of the call, task, history, follow up. If a customer calls while I am driving and I can't get to Base to make the entry then I would like to be able to do it at a later date and adjust the time to reflect when the call actually happened. We have customers that challenge us on when we called them and right now we can't give them specifics.

  17. Total task overhaul or allow deep integration with a well established task manager eg todoist

    The task management is literally the absolute bare bones of what could constitute as any kind of task management and is more like a feature from the 1990s. Either update to something that’s actually useful or allow for an integration with a well established full featured task management software such as todoist.

  20. How many tasks per date?

    Tasks represent things to do, It would be good to have an overview of the number of tasks on any given date or between certain dates.

    This is important for managing workflow for example when deciding what date to add a new task (e.g. call) to a contact. If you already have 50 tasks on a day you'd want to choose a different day.

    This could be achieved just by amending the filter to allow for specific dates as the count facility already exists.
