How can we improve Sell?

  1. Sync appointments to outlook calendar

    Is it possible to add functionality to the outlook add in so that appointments (and perhaps also tasks) are synced with outlook from Base? (Along the lines of the salesforce outlook add in but which actually works...) We use exchange not google mail (we need higher levels of email security) and have no way of syncing between the 2 calendars, which is a major problem in scheduling meetings.

  2. Calendar Sync with Office 365

    Please provide a Office 365 calendar sync option. I don't want to sync with my local Outlook, I want to sync with the cloud hosted calendar.

    Along the same lines I would love to be able to link a folder in Onedrive for Business document storage to a Deal. I want this to work 2 ways, I want to have an exiosting folder with docuemtns, and just link that to the deal. The way our workflow is handled, Folders for potential projects are created before we would enter the project into BASE.

  3. Communication (emails, phone calls, notes) should transfer from a Lead when converted to a Deal

    Currently when you convert a Lead to a deal all of the emails, phone calls and notes from the Lead disappear. They should automatically, or there should at least be the option, for them to be transferred to the new Deal, rather than the Deal having a completely blank history.

    Thanks for posting!
    When you convert a lead and opt to create a deal, the activity history is divided between the deal and the contact, in the following way:
    notes are assigned to the deal, to make it easy to track the history in the deal;
    emails are assigned to the contact – and emails newer than the deal will be visible in the deal, too;
    calls are assigned to both contact and deal.

  4. Have it count how many phone calls and emails have been made...

    It would be really great if, as Base already logs calls/emails, it then actually counted phone calls/emails made/received.

    And then if it could recognise the calls made at different stages of deals. Here's why.

    It would be great to go into reports, and see how many phone calls/emails are necessary on average to take a deal to the next stage, or even how many calls/emails are necessary to win a deal.

    This would then give you valuable data such as how much each phone call/email is worth to you, monetarily - overall, and broken-down, stage-by-stage.

    You can already view the number of calls made using the Call Count report (http://glurl.co/d6W). We continue to work on expanding the reports center, so just give us time, and those updates will be there.

  5. Sync with Exchange Calendar

    I noticed you have previously commented saying you have started working on an integration with the outlook exchange calendar, saying it would hopefully roll out this year- do you have an updated estimated time for roll out now the year is close to ending?

  6. Sending email with empty subject field should not be possible

    I just sent an email without a subject. BaseCRM could warn, or simply refuse to send. Protect me from myself. :)

  7. searchable by, or a report for customers that have not been contacted/visited in the last 90 days

    I need to be able to filter my contacts by customers that I have not seen in the last 90 days. I could filter by last time notes were added or even better would be by my custom field: "last visited" in date form. Currently I can search a date range by my last visited filter, but I cannot exclude customers that were not visited in a certain date range. A good way to do this would be to add an exclude check box and then be able to filter any customer that was NOT visited between a certain date…

  8. receive user activity on e-mail

    It would be good to receive by admin the activity of the users. For example when a user add a new contact or a note then I (admin or owner) would like to receive that contact or note by e-mail as it work's the task in the moment

  11. Display deal highlights on the contacts card

    ON the contacts screen we are not able to delete a contact if that contact is related to a deal.

    That is good so, why not display the name of the deal and the forecasted close date with a link to that deal RIGHT ON THE CONTACT CARD?
    afterall, the link already exists...

  12. Base cutting URLs with umlaut (åäöü) or other strange characters #bug

    Noticed today that a link in a note was cut-in-half. The reason is the Finnish character 'ö' in it. Nowadays such characters are valid, and Base should probably recognize this?

    Not a high priority issue. But one of those "little things" that make a great product. :)

  13. Lead Status in the iPhone app

    Hello, I don't see where you can put in Lead status in the iPhone app for leads. If you guys dont have it, then you should definitely add it.

  14. In App Microsoft Exchange Support

    I can't speak for any industry outside of the Canadian Oil & Gas Industry, but for the entirety of the industry every one of the companies runs their email/contacts through Microsoft Exchange. A lot of companies like mine are moving away from PC Systems and going to Tablets for field personnel for emails. I use Base CRM strictly from a Tablet, which is in place of the usual sales laptop. Is it possible to get in app Exchange integration? All of my contacts, emails, calendar events all run through exchange and my system isn't setup for IMAP so I can't…

    Thanks a lot for using Base and for sending this feedback our way!

    We released Exchange Contacts sync feature last month. You can read more about how to integrate Contacts with Exchange here: https://support.getbase.com/hc/en-us/articles/204337395-How-do-I-integrate-my-Contacts-with-Exchange-.

    We are also planning on releasing Exchange Calendar integration later this year. but it is not something We have a solid ETA on at the moment.

    Syncing Exchange Mail is currently available through IMAP protocol. IMAP protocol is disabled by default on most of Exchange configurations. It can, however, be enabled by server admin. While we can see how direct Exchange integration would be useful, this is not a feature that we’ll be able to add in the near future.

  15. Wrong currency symbol in Edit-Appointment-Dialogue

    After double-clicking an appointment in the calender view the edit mask opens: the Deal-Badge at the right side (below the attendees badge) shows the deal value with a currency prefix symbol.
    Im my case: I have EUR (€) everywhere but there it still shows USD ("$") in front of the right EUR-Value.
