I’m happy to let you know that you can now navigate back from a contact, deal, or lead to the same place on the list by using the browser’s Back button or by clicking the link to the relevant section.

It's a pity that the Android Base App, which for the rest is great, doesn't have the option to sync contacts to the address book.
The problem with contacts not being there is that I don't know who is calling me bcs I see only the number.45 votes

You can see in this screenshot (https://img.skitch.com/20110710-jacdqt5i32125trty1eckqu9pn.png) that the view is really monotonous because we're essentially selling the same kind of deals ("Boost Campaign") to multiple partners. Since it's a Sales/CRM tool, it would make sense UI-wise to make the client name (black out here for privacy reasons) larger and in color rather than the name of the sale. Would be easier to track that way (since I'm always looking for the name of the client rather than some artificial name for the sale).42 votes
Tags are good, but we need them for filtering. In our business, we deals with technologies, and would like to see the pipeline for a specific technology to see where to pitch based on our current staff situation.43 votes
I seem to routinely loose emails that I have started or finished and had to leave to go to another area in BASE or hit a key in error. The email is lost. This is highly frustrating as most of the email I send is original in content. Actually it is painful.40 votes
This functionality has now been released and works when you leave the page with opened composer or switches to “Add a Note” or “Send a Text Message” boxes.
Such emails along with subject, recipients and attachments is saved and restored if the user comes back to this page within 24 hours.

I’m happy to announce that we have improved our search feature in Base. All custom fields are now searchable. Simply type in the custom field value and you will see your search results.
Please add the ability to track a lead source. It is vital to analyzing marketing ROI to see where your leads are coming from. Custom field is great and that is what we have been doing but then there is human error/ forgetfulness when it has to be re entered in the deal source.36 votes

Many of my contacts use more than one e-mail address interchangeably. Base doesn't allow adding multiple e-mail addresses to one contact. One workaround that was suggested here was to add it as a custom field. However, this will not display e-mail correspondence with that e-mail address on the contact page/profile.34 votes
The emails from the emails in these custom fields should absolutely sync over. As long as the custom field type is Email Address, emails to and from that address should sync over. If it is not, can you please reach out to email@example.com and we can help further troubleshoot?
When I want a status on a deal it would be convenient to @mention a coworker within the feed so that there is a recorded discussion. This would also cut down emails.33 votes

Long time user for Base CRM, but first time user of account feature. Some existing contacts have been mistakenly flagged as an account. Account box setting is 'grayed out' in edit mode and I am unable to change. BTW, you've created an excellent CRM...a mega enhancement to my productivity!32 votes
This is customizable in the current version of the Prospects & Customers feature.
Could you give custom fields tag functionality so that advanced searches using multiple criteria can be carried out? For example, if I want to search all 'legal' companies (within my industry field) who have 'onsite' storage (in my requirement field) it narrows down the results by these criteria. This is only function that is preventing us running this across our entire sales department. Thanks30 votes

You can now add other email addresses as custom fields.
I would like to add the deal and have more than one field that is REsult. As in $$. Marketing Awareness, Long Term Value. All of the fields should or could be numeric to add up29 votes

Simplify our lives and dump mailchimp integration. Have the ability to email to tags/groups etc from within BASE without the 100 email limit. Reporting, responses, opens, unsubscribes can all get posted straight to Base immediately.28 votes

Instead of just a sum on a deal it would be perfect if we could add Products and services to specify deals more. Especially with the integration to Quoteroller now, witch is awesome. Also add tax/vat options.28 votes

Quote Roller is being discontinued - new users sign up for PandaDoc. They've already developed a nice ifram integration for SalesForce and this would be something really nice to integrate with Base.28 votes
