How can we improve Sell?

  1. Enable non-branded IMAP email accounts, instead of Google, iCloud, etc

    Please allow us to use our own email systems, rather than a specifically branded email account (such as Google, iCloud, etc). I use my own IMAP server (actually, Rackspace Webmail) and would like to integrate it into Base. Many thanks!

  2. Provide managers visibility into Contact email history

    As a manager, I want to be able to review every activity my salesperson has had with a Contact. I can review the communication with wins and losses to try and general trends. I can review the skill level of salespeople to determine what types of training would make them more effective. If an employee is losing deals because he or she isn't treating the Customer with respect (you may know what I mean), I can catch and address the behavior.   3. Add BCC address for Leads

    Would be great if Base had a BCC address for Leads. We're currently using ToutApp and need our emails to be saved under Leads, not Contacts. We believe this would be extremely helpful, especially as the email clients supported by Base are very limited. We would be willing to pay extra for this feature.

    Thanks for your feedback, we really appreciate it! BCC addresses are currently avaliable for Leads as well as Contacts and users are able to use their Contact BCC email address to add correspondence Leads to Base.

    Please note that BCC’d emails will not convert to the Contact or Deal when the Lead is converted.

  4. Associate Percent Likelihood of Closing with Deal Stages

    Then the pipleline value report can be more accurate of what you're likely to actually close.

    Few days ago we have introduced pur new Forecasting feature. You can now specify estimated closing date and percent likelihood of closing deal. You can read more about this new, great feature here http://goo.gl/7hvOn

  5. Calender + additional contact field

    please add a calender function where once can see all tasks associated with all (or some select) deals.

    Please make additional contact field for 'notes' and other, this would alow business specific information, or important updates/notes to be associated with contact list

  6. Change the date of a deal for more accurate reports

    Being able to change the date of a deal so that it is counted during the correct period when a report is generated.

  8. Custom fields - custom order

    Allow users to re-organize custom fields.
    We have over 30+ custom fields which were created in the order of our old
    database but do not reflect an intuitive user experience within the BASE
    layout.

    It would be great if the custom fields could be:

    - alphabetized, or
    - sorted / re-ordered after creation

  9. Include attachments in emails

    I'd like for the emails I BCC to my dropbox to include the attachments. I often send an SOW or proposal doc to a prospect/client and I'd like to be able to reference that in the contact info.

  10. Tracking Leads (Contacts) the same way we track Deals.

    For instance, tracking a Contract through "Awareness", "Interest", "Engagement" to a Deal. Once a Deal has begun they move to "Qualified" and onwards.

    Ultimately, we'd like to begin reporting on leads as they bounce through our nurturing and outreach campaigns.

    Would this sort of detail on Lead tracking be possible?

  11. Populate Opportunities with Products (not just a $ amount with some notes)

    I really love your brand and company culture. IMO you guys are positioned to be the very best CRM. The ONLY thing holding me back from signing up our organization for a paid subscription is the ability to create a Products list (with prices and SKUs) to be used to populate the Opportunities tab. Please consider bringing this feature to market.

  12. Sync with Google Contacts

    Some sort of ability to sync my Google Apps contacts with my Base contacts (i.e. something more dynamic than an import). That way, I can change some information (such as a phone number) in Google Apps, and it will automagically be updated in Base.

    At a later stage, two-way sync might also be useful.

  13. Activity Reports

    My sales cycle does't match Bases layout exactly, the biggest metrics that I need to track is Activities & Number of referrals.

    We sell medical examinations and are evaluated on how many exams are referred each day, and how much activity the sales person did to produce those referrals.

  14. Associate Contact note with deal

    Need Ability to have a note created with contact associate with and deal and appear in deal. Currently you have to duplicate the note if you want to see every interaction with everyone involved under the deal.

  15. Tag users in notes

    As you can tag your friends on Facebook by typing @joebloggs - this would be very useful in Base to draw specific colleagues attention to a note or task

  16. Enter decimal values on deal values

    Let's say we have deal that costs 3.032,50 . Amazingly, if we type this on Deal value, or if we type: 3,032.50 (American way), we get 30,032 ! I mean, shouldn't we place cents there? I believe we should.

    The ability to view a document attached to a deal/contact/lead without downloading it.

  19. Prospective month field for a deal

    In addition to a stage there should be a prospective month field that the deal is likely to fall into and a percentage liklehood of winning the deal. Should be able to filter and sort deals by their month and highest to lowest percentage.
