As a manager, I want to be able to review every activity my salesperson has had with a Contact. I can review the communication with wins and losses to try and general trends. I can review the skill level of salespeople to determine what types of training would make them more effective. If an employee is losing deals because he or she isn't treating the Customer with respect (you may know what I mean), I can catch and address the behavior. More importantly, the fact that I *can* see the emails encourages employees to follow company policies even if I never look.
Unfortunately, the current visibility prevents me from seeing emails imported by my employees.
When I contacted support to ask if I was missing something, privacy was mentioned. I do not believe this is a valid argument against this feature. If an employee is using a company email to communicate with a company contact, every email is of potential concern to the company. I can go into Exchange or Google Apps and audit their emails. It's not a question of authority or propriety... just convenience. In the CRM... in the flow of my salesperson's engagement... this is the right place to review emails in context. Since they're already available in BaseCRM, either the default should be changed or an Admin option should be added.
Seriously... what is a salesperson doing on a company email that is OK... but they wouldn't want a sales manager to see?
As a corollary to this request, the "delete" button on an email in the CRM activity history needs to remove it from the Salesperson's visible history, but archive the message and show it as a deleted message to the manager. It doesn't do me any good if salespeople are spending their time sanitizing their email history... both wasting their time and limiting the effectiveness of a review.

Thanks for your feedback on this!
We’ve made sharing your emails available with one click. For more details, visit our blog at http://blog.getbase.com/share-customer-conversations-team-new-email-visibility-options.
Would be great if Base had a BCC address for Leads. We're currently using ToutApp and need our emails to be saved under Leads, not Contacts. We believe this would be extremely helpful, especially as the email clients supported by Base are very limited. We would be willing to pay extra for this feature.76 votes
Thanks for your feedback, we really appreciate it! BCC addresses are currently avaliable for Leads as well as Contacts and users are able to use their Contact BCC email address to add correspondence Leads to Base.
Please note that BCC’d emails will not convert to the Contact or Deal when the Lead is converted.
If you do have any questions, please feel free to reach out to email@example.com.
Then the pipleline value report can be more accurate of what you're likely to actually close.74 votes
Few days ago we have introduced pur new Forecasting feature. You can now specify estimated closing date and percent likelihood of closing deal. You can read more about this new, great feature here http://goo.gl/7hvOn

Being able to change the date of a deal so that it is counted during the correct period when a report is generated.72 votes
That’s correct, the date a deal was moved to a stage (and this includes Won) is now editable, both manually in a deal’s page, and in bulk, through deal importing.
You can find it under the label “Moved to stage date.”
Thanks for your feedback and support!
It would be great if you could integrate your form into WuFoo.com We use them now to write to Highrise BUT I want to bounce to you all.71 votes
Allow users to re-organize custom fields.
We have over 30+ custom fields which were created in the order of our old
database but do not reflect an intuitive user experience within the BASE
It would be great if the custom fields could be:
- alphabetized, or
- sorted / re-ordered after creation69 votes
We’ve added a reorder functionality to the custom fields, including through drag & drop.
You can check it out in your account’s settings.
Thanks for your feedback!
I'd like for the emails I BCC to my dropbox to include the attachments. I often send an SOW or proposal doc to a prospect/client and I'd like to be able to reference that in the contact info.65 votes
For instance, tracking a Contract through "Awareness", "Interest", "Engagement" to a Deal. Once a Deal has begun they move to "Qualified" and onwards.
Ultimately, we'd like to begin reporting on leads as they bounce through our nurturing and outreach campaigns.
Would this sort of detail on Lead tracking be possible?63 votes
I’m happy to let you know that tracking leads in Base has now been completed. You can check our support article for more details: http://support.futuresimple.com/customer/portal/articles/996133
Have a great day,
I really love your brand and company culture. IMO you guys are positioned to be the very best CRM. The ONLY thing holding me back from signing up our organization for a paid subscription is the ability to create a Products list (with prices and SKUs) to be used to populate the Opportunities tab. Please consider bringing this feature to market.63 votes
We’re happy to say that products are currently available for the Enterprise plan (http://blog.getbase.com/base-introduces-product-catalog-help-build-accurate-deal-values)
Some sort of ability to sync my Google Apps contacts with my Base contacts (i.e. something more dynamic than an import). That way, I can change some information (such as a phone number) in Google Apps, and it will automagically be updated in Base.
At a later stage, two-way sync might also be useful.62 votes
The two way sync with Google Contacts has been released. I hope that it will help you in managing your contacts.
Base CRM Team
My sales cycle does't match Bases layout exactly, the biggest metrics that I need to track is Activities & Number of referrals.
We sell medical examinations and are evaluated on how many exams are referred each day, and how much activity the sales person did to produce those referrals.60 votes
Activity reports are now avaliable in Base!
Need Ability to have a note created with contact associate with and deal and appear in deal. Currently you have to duplicate the note if you want to see every interaction with everyone involved under the deal.54 votes
This has since been implemented and users can now create notes for both Contacts and Deals at the same time :)
As you can tag your friends on Facebook by typing @joebloggs - this would be very useful in Base to draw specific colleagues attention to a note or task54 votes
You can now tag users in notes and notify them about it – with the Mentions feature we recently released.
Check out the blog post to learn how Mentions can improve your team’s collaboration: https://blog.getbase.com/introducing-mentions
Let's say we have deal that costs 3.032,50 . Amazingly, if we type this on Deal value, or if we type: 3,032.50 (American way), we get 30,032 ! I mean, shouldn't we place cents there? I believe we should.53 votes
Great news! We do now have decimal values on deal values released in the product. For more news and updates check out our blog at: http://blog.getbase.com
The ability to see emails you have added to Base via the BCC dropbox or the full email integration.53 votes

The ability to view a document attached to a deal/contact/lead without downloading it.49 votes
Thanks for your support for this suggestion!
You can now view the most common file types, such as PDF or jpeg, directly in Base, without downloading or opening new tabs.
Thanks for your feedback!
In addition to a stage there should be a prospective month field that the deal is likely to fall into and a percentage liklehood of winning the deal. Should be able to filter and sort deals by their month and highest to lowest percentage.48 votes
Thank you for your feedback and votes.
We’ve introduced Sales forecasting (http://support.futuresimple.com/customer/portal/articles/586778) which lets you set a deal’s estimated close date, among other options.
In the reports section I would like to see the funnel report per lead source.46 votes
