  1. Pin notes to top

    Having the ability to pin notes to the top would be fantastic - so that the sales team don't miss crucial information before picking up the phone or sending an email. It's also a great place to summarise the details of their last/current deal so that servicing/renewing contracts is easier at a glance.

  2. Associate Contact Note with a Specific Deal

    Need Ability to have a note created with contact associate with a SPECIFIC deal and appear in that particular deal.

    Currently, for a contact who is involved in multiple deals I have two options:
    1. duplicate the note if I want to see every interaction with everyone involved under the deal.
    2. see the note for the contact on all deals he/she is involved in - even on deals that are not related to the note at all.

  3. Ability to configure popup dialog boxes

    When creating a new or modifying an existing person contact you can add a company through a popup dialog. This is useful but we find that a most of the time the fields in that popup are not actually what we want to add. This results in a rather cumbersome workflow having to first create the company through the popup, then save the new person and then go find the newly added company i order to add the desired fields (website, turnover, number of employees, etc.)

  4. Stop adding fields when contacts are merged.

    When merging contacts, it creates extra fields if the information doesn't match. A note in the contact should be sufficient. Merging contacts should not create extra fields.

  5. Company/Contact Addresses

    Have a default setting for when company addresses are changed, it also changes the contacts automatically. At this point it has to be done manually.

    When I update a physical address in a company profile, I should be given the option to have it update all contacts associated with that company.

  7. Work history

    If you are using base for a long time, you probably noticed that people change companies. It would be great to handle such a change in base in a greaceful way.

    Most of my contacts switch from one company to other and still are my clients. Rarely people switch industry.

    I would like to mark, that from now on, person A does not work for X cork, but for Y corp. All the communication logged in base should be preserved.

  9. Relationship linking - link contacts to build networks

    Any CRM should allow you to link people/contacts. For example, your client Mr X was referred by Mr Y and is also advised by Mr A in another capacity. This should also be reportabel.

  10. Have the Smartlist categorize by Company, not Contact

    When working on our contacts, the smartlist filters by the Contact. We work in Industry where the key-employees can change. Deals are associated by Company and then Client. It would be nice if the Smartlist reflected that as well.

  12. Ability to Bulk Change Prospect Status Or Customer Status

    We import our clients users regularly, sometimes at different stage and there can be a large number of them.

    I want to be able to change a Prospect or Customer Status in Bulk by selecting those I want to change, then changing one and a pop up will come up asking I would like to apply the change to all those I have selected. Click yes or no.

  13. True 2-way sync with Google Contacts

    Currently when you add a contact in Base, it syncs to Google Contacts, but then subsequently will NOT sync future changes to Google Contacts. Any edits to the contact need to be made in Google for them to appear in Base.

    I propose that a true 2-way sync would be implemented, where the user could choose which app would "win" in case of a conflict, i.e. "Google wins" or "Base wins".

    Hello everyone! Thanks for all of your feedback. A two-way sync with Google Contacts is very much currently under consideration, but just to give you a heads up, this is not something that will be happening in the near future.   14. Address Line 2 in Main Contact Info Area

    Our sales people consistently forget to add Address Line 2, or try to jam it into the Address 1 field, because it lives down below the main contact card area (because it is a "custom" field). Address Line 2 should be a primary field.

  15. A 'person' hierarchy structure to manage variations of multiple companies/deals and to facilitate GDPR reporting

    Being able to manage company and deal variations linked to a unique contact (i.c. for persons)
    Currently we have created 'duplicated person' accounts to manage deals where a person was involved when working for company A. The person moved on to another job at company B and (s)he was again involved in a new deal for company B. So, a unique person has 2 email addresses which are linked to different companies and. as a result, different deals.

    Also, from a GDPR perspective being able to answering gdpr requests by pulling reports from unique contact ID/Name with all its variants…

  16. Allow us to assign or add a person to multiple companies.

    It would be very helpful for our business to have the ability to assign person(s) to more than one company. I work with several people that work for multiple companies. I only want to add them into Base once, but have the ability to assign them to multiple companies that they are representing.

  17. Company name from email domain

    If a company has been created with at least one contact with an email address, when adding new contacts from Communication tab, then company field could be automatically populated from that email domain if a match.

  18. Moving Contacts back to Leads

    When first starting out, I entered a bunch of leads under "Contacts" because I didn't realize the difference. Now that I know, I want my Leads/ Contact lists to be correctly organized so I need to move those "Contacts" back to "Leads" and I'm not seeing a way to do that.

    A way to link a person to another contact - say husband and wife with different names or link a contact to a company so you can look at as the person or listed under the company.

  20. Filter ranges

    When making smart lists and such it would be great if you could add ranges. For example we have added values for number of employees and annual revenue on all companies in our database. Would be great to make lists depending on ranges in those numbers.
